Irish Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 12 oz Irish stout, red ale or other
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted (plus a little extra if you’d like to brush on after baking)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C.
  2. In a large Wonderlier® Bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until fully combined.
  3. Pour in the beer and stir until a thick dough forms. Transfer the dough into the Tupperware Voila™ Glass Rectangular Large or loaf pan and spread evenly.
  4. Pour the melted butter over the top of the dough and bake for 45–60 minutes, until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
