Homemade Pocket Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 13.8 oz. pizza crust dough
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices Black Forest ham, chopped
  • 1 large egg, whisked
  • 1 tbsp. water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F/ 200°C.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough thinly, and then cut it into four equal rectangles.
  3. Evenly divide the cheese and ham among the center of each piece of dough.
  4. Whisk the egg with water until well combined. Use a brush to apply the egg wash around the edges of each piece of dough.
  5. Wrap the dough around the filling, pinching the edges closed.
  6. Transfer the dough to Silicone Baking Sheet with Rim, seam side down, and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool. Store in freezer-safe containers and freeze for up to two weeks.
  7. When ready to serve, place the pocket sandwich in a MicroPro Grill and cover in the grill position. Microwave on high power for 3-4 minutes. Serve immediately.
