Crispy Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 2 15-oz./425 g cans Chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 2 tsp. Smoked paprika
  • 1½ tsp. Garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. Onion powder
  • ½ tsp. Black pepper
  • 2 tsp. Salt

Directions

Prep the chickpeas

  1. Drain chickpeas and place in Thatsa medium bowl. Add olive oil, spices and toss to coat.

Cook and serve

  1. Place chickpeas in base of MicroPro Grill and cover in grill position. Microwave on high power 10 minutes.
  2. If further crispiness is desired, at the end of the 10 minutes, uncover and stir, then microwave for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Serve over rice, salad or as a snack.
