• Tip for Fast Cleaning: Add 300 ml/10 fl oz of water and 2 drops of liquid soap, cover with the Smart Engine Lid and activate product for 10 seconds or for a full 40-second cycle.
• Enjoy a Chill Drink: Make delicious Chill Drinks with frozen fruit. Cut fruit into small pieces (less than 2 cm/0.8 in) before adding. and thaw for at least 10 minutes in the liquid you will use for your preparation. Adding your favorite frozen fruit and milk will create a smooth consistency at a perfect chill temperature.
• Gently Shake: For best results, gently shake your blender while it is mixing.
• Use a Straw: The Smart Engine Lid and Simple Lid both have drinking spouts to drink directly from; or use a straw with either. The Tupperware Eco Straw is made to be used with the UrbanMax™ Portable Blender. Use it over and over again and keep it hygienic thanks to its matching straw brush.
• Pour with the Lid: After blending dressings and sauces, keep lid on to either serve or to transfer to containers.
• Press to Stop : In case you have a small portion or for any other reason, you can stop the 40 second pre-set cycle at any time by pressing the Start/Stop button once.

How to Charge

• This product comes with a charging cable that can be connected to your own charging dock. Make sure to align the magnetic plug to the charging dock in the cover.
• Product does not include a charging dock; use a 5V plug as indicated on the plug itself.
• hen charging, put the Smart Engine Lid with blades facing down on flat surface to ensure good connection between magnetic plug and charging dock.
• Lid is charging when white light indicator flashes. When battery is fully charged, light will change to a steady white.
• A full charge takes less than four hours.
• One battery charge blends approximately 10 drinks.
• Once fully charged, engine will run on a 40 second pre-set cycle.
• If not used frequently, please charge your product every three months to prevent battery damage.

Let’s Blend!

Before blending

• Please use fruits, vegetables or other food in pieces no bigger than 2 cm/0.8 in.
• If using frozen fruits or vegetables, thaw for at least 10 minutes in liquid you will use for your preparation before blending. This will keep engine from getting stuck.
• Do not use ice cubes, as they will make the blades dull.

Ready to blend

• When mixing ingredients, always put solid ingredients in Blender first, followed by liquids.
• The Tumbler’s blending capacity is 350ml/11.8 fl. oz., indicated by a maximum filling line. To avoid overflow, do not exceed filling line.
• This product has different safety measures. If Smart Engine Lid is not placed on Tumbler and fully closed, engine will not start; this keeps blades from running while exposed.
• In order to activate Blender, align pictos on base and cover. When Smart Engine Lid is in correct position, light will turn green, indicating it is ready.
• Double-click Start/Stop button to start engine and blades will start to rotate.
• Turn the Blender upside down so cover is fully in contact with a flat surface; or hold it in your hand for proper blending.
• Pre-set cycle lasts 40 seconds; after that, engine will automatically stop.
• If you prefer some pieces in your preparation, you can stop the cycle by clicking Start/Stop button once. Otherwise, it is recommended to let engine run a full 40-second cycle.
• For smoother results, run an additional cycle.
• Do not open product during blending process. This could affect the engine.
• Before opening the cap, allow product to stand vertically for a moment to make sure food is not stuck in the spout.

*Tip: If you turn Blender upside down and blades are stuck, gently shake Blender from right to left until it starts freely rotating. If this doesn’t work, return it to an upright position, wait a few seconds and turn it upside down again.

How to clean

• Tumbler and Simple Lid are dishwasher safe, using a 65°C/150°F temperature.
• Smart Engine Lid should be hand washed to protect engine; please rinse carefully. Do not put the engine in the dishwasher or submerge it in water.
• Wash or rinse immediately after each use.
• The spout comes with a removable silicone cap. Make sure to clean silicone piece by removing it and washing it by hand.
