Finally classic is back! 10/4/2017
Reviewer: Rochelle
Finally brought this item back! The only dish to have. Not breakable or clunky! Goes smoothly from fridge door to counter or table. Holds different sizes or flips for cheese. Good design so you can slice and not be cutting into dish. Someone said it did not close tightly— yes, it is so by design— just enough seal to keep together to move and remove lid easily with one hand. This is not a locking super seal. Use a regular item for that kind of safety.
It does hold 1 lb of butter! 8/11/2017
Reviewer: Donna
It says it holds a pound of butter because if you buy it shaped as a pound like what they sell at some where-houses it fits. Costco carries this type of butter! This would be really useful for people who use those.
DOES NOT SEAL, WHICH MAKES IT USELESS 6/16/2017
Reviewer: Adrianne
This is the lowest quality of butter dish I've ever purchased. It does not keep your butter fresh anymore than the box your butter comes in from the store. Why? Because it does not seal. It is an expensive that offers no value whatsoever in your kitchen because it's purpose does not work.

Why does everyone keep posting that 2 sticks of butter do not equal 1lb of butter. Put your glasses on it does says 2 sticks of butter or 1lb.

The description clearly says 1 pound/455g, or 2 sticks.
It DOES NOT say that 2 sticks equals 1 pound.
Butter Dish / Cream Cheese Dish 10/25/2016
Reviewer: Marilee
The Butter Dish isn't just for butter. I have 2 of them; one for butter and one for cream cheese. LOVE them!

If admin could please delete the multiple repeat posts. I apologize, my phone froze and the submit button "stuck?!" Strange!

While yes, 2 sticks equals a half pound, as pictured, you can either use the butter dish for 2 sticks side by side, or a 1 pound block. Ordering one today and I'm really looking forward to fresh room temperature butter! Glass dishes tend to be messy and it gets stale if left uncovered. I forgot about Tupperware ones. My grandma always had the classic one growing up!

2 sticks equal half pound, not 1 pound of butter
