12 inch Round Container 4/17/2017
Reviewer: Thomas
I like this bowl for pies, deviled eggs, brownies & cookies. So far the items I have used this for, hasn't stayed in the container long enough to see how well it keeps things fresh. We used it on Easter Sunday to take a pie to dinner with us. It was a small pie & a soft icepack was able to fit in the bowl beside the pie pan. An hour later the pie was still nice & cool. If you want to use it for pies & other food items that need to be kept cool, you may want to get some reusable ice cubes. They will stay cold for a while, without the mess.
As far as how well they clean up? I can't really say. Mine has never gotten really dirty yet. Every food item has been covered & nothing has gotten into the container yet. Yet it you take pies, cookies or other similar items to a dinner party, I recommend this bowl.
This is supposed to be freezer safe, but I have never used it for that purpose. I can not tell you how well it will do in the freezer. Yet all of my other freezer safe bowls, do well when I use them that way.
I own a lot of Tupperware items & I have had only a few problems with certain items. Bowls will stain sometimes, when certain foods are kept in them. Lids will rip if used a whole lot, but I have only had problems with the square & oval lids ripping on me. Yet I used those containers daily for well over a year, so I really can't complain. I had a 5 to 6 quart canister at one time. I used it mostly for chips. It would keep chips fresh for a couple of weeks. I am hoping this container will keep my baked goods just as well. Time will tell
